Our Oge and Ashikebu Factories in Amami Oshima island, Kagoshima Prefecture are mainly used as bases for the production of “seedlings” used in fish breeding.
We nurture parent red sea bream, hatch their eggs, nurture them into fry, then supply them through our fish nurseries to our customers.
Our Oge Factory is fully equipped with a cultivation tank for breeding rotifer, which are used as feed for red sea bream fry, and a large cultivation tank for breeding nannochloropsis, which are used as feed for the rotifer.
At our Ashikebu Factory, we carry out the same operations as at our Oge Factory, only with a higher intake of seawater. Here, we manage operations with a view to cultivating the best possible bluefin tuna.
